Backpacking the Pacific Crest Trail and Beyond
Day 157: Fire Creek Pass (Mile 2530)-Suiattle River (Mile 2549.5); 19.5 miles
High above fog-filled valleys, we slowly packed up our possessions as the sun rose. The sky glowed.
Zigzagging down the mountainside, we passed Mica Lake, which was mostly frozen on the surface.
Each day on the Pacific Crest Trail is packed full of memorable events. In this post, to better share the variety of our daily experiences, we focus on a single day, day 156, with only one highlight from each of the other days.
Our hike through the Alpine Lakes Wilderness was so picturesque, we decided to portray it entirely in photographs. We hope you enjoy this visual journey.
